It seems the more drivers “progress”, the more this game has troubles. Often backwards compatibility is sacrificed in order to get the latest and greatest up to snuff. For example, there was an Nvidia update a few years ago that started that whole “rotating grass” phenomena, and it was never fixed though it doesn’t always happen.

I have a feeling Windows 10 isn’t exactly improving the landscape, as much as they’d like you to believe otherwise. Last edited by Plaid ; 26 Mar, pm. XX being screen refresh rate. The game holds 60 fps constant Vsync on but I get microstuttering only under DX Through the ingame console. Using gameprofile. I have tried it and I now can play with DX10 and no microstuttering at all.

Only in America! Any more feedback? If thats the case we would like to know what the settings are. This project was aimed to make DirectX 10 compatible games to run on non-Vista operating systems. Windows Mac Android. The worst you could do is try it.
