I have tried the following with no success: – automatic and manual uninstallation of all Office files and registry keys – install while in safe mode – no antivirus programs installed and windows defender is turned off – uninstall of rgnstck file – install of trial version from website – copying files from cd onto hard drive and installing from hard drive – administrator rights – removal of activation assistant with trial version What else can I do?

There is no further information and and the only option is a ‘Close’ button. I had some similar difficulty Uninstalling Office , also. I ran the Fix It utility, which fixed some problems, then the Uninstall completed. I ran Fix It for Installation troubleshooting, but no problems detected was stated. However, I experience the issue above when attempting to run installation.

I only deleted the Microsoft Enterprise program. I left any update install files in place, as I was told I could do this. This thread is locked.

Step 1: Check for any trial version of Office and Uninstall from the computer and then try to install Office Enterprise I installed ms office enterprise , install went ok, but when i open word or any other office program i get a setup error.
